Volunteering Opportunities

There are lots of opportunities to contribute to the success of our charity by becoming a volunteer.

Formal training and qualifications are part of the charity’s volunteer programme, so if you are seeking rewarding work experience, with the opportunity to develop valuable skills, we may be able to help you.

As a Volunteer at the Central YMCA Club, you join a team over 200 individuals giving their time to help run what is central London’s largest health and fitness facility.

There are also opportunities to support One KX, our arts and health community centre in King’s Cross London.

Studio Coordinator
£19,789 per annum

Central YMCA requires a studio coordinator to assist in the coordination, management and development of the Club’s studio programmes. You will also be expected to assist in the delivery of personal fitness programmes to members.

Candidates must hold a YMCAFit/CYQ Exercise to Music qualification or equivalent Studio instructor award a related level 3 qualification (desirable), Stott Pilates Matwork or Reformer qualification (desirable) and have experience of teaching/delivering a wide variety of studio classes and providing gym floor cover.
