Volunteering Opportunities

There are lots of opportunities to contribute to the success of our charity by becoming a volunteer.

Formal training and qualifications are part of the charity’s volunteer programme, so if you are seeking rewarding work experience, with the opportunity to develop valuable skills, we may be able to help you.

As a Volunteer at the Central YMCA Club, you join a team over 200 individuals giving their time to help run what is central London’s largest health and fitness facility.

There are also opportunities to support One KX, our arts and health community centre in King’s Cross London.

Part Time Weekend Recreation Assistant needed
Central YMCA Club
£4,466 per annum
11 hours per week

We require a weekend part time recreation assistant to provide poolside monitoring including life- guarding, safety testing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the gym and on poolside. You must have excellent customer service/communication skills and a VALID RLSS pool lifeguard qualification.

Work is to be carried out Saturdays 9.30am to 8.30pm.

Good references are essential. CRB checks will be carried out due to this role working in close proximity of children and vulnerable adults.
