Hooked on Learning Technology - From Challenge to Success

16 September 2015

On 24th September 2015, we’re delighted to be hosting a Digital Learning Symposium at Jisc’s offices in London. The event is to encourage discussion around the use of digital technology for learning, and the hooks that engage and stimulate learners to succeed. We'll also be showcasing support that is available free of charge.

The event also links to our eLearning report, coming soon following research and meetings with learners and providers.

Tara Dillon, CEO of CIMSPA is supporting our work in digital learning and comments,

“The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) favours a blended learning approach within the sector. It is vital that our workforce is part of the digital revolution, and that we support both existing and future employees at every level to achieve their potential by harnessing digital learning technology.

Our workforce are operating in a competitive and fast paced environment and the digital technologies that YMCA Awards are harnessing will support the continued development of staff, enabling the self-employed to grow their businesses and those in employment to attract learners and clients with exciting and vibrant content.

We remain mindful of the need to combine practical learning and assessment with the opportunities presented by on-line learning, and are keen to support YMCA Awards in the growth of both on and off-line opportunities.”

Speakers at the event will include Jisc, Reading College, WAMEdu and SmartAssessor. There are a few places still available, to book yours or to find out more contact arkin.buhara@ymcaawards.co.uk.
