Stages 1-3 will have 7 children per class, whilst Stages 4-7 will have a max of 10 children per class. Squad class will have 12 children per class.
All classes will have 1 teacher.
Yes, floating aids will be available for children to use each session.
The playscheme costs 39.95 per day and runs from 9am – 4pm
The Playscheme runs at our partner school, King Cross Academy, 4 Wollstonecraft St, London N1C 4BT.
Yes! Any children aged 4-11 can attend the holiday club.
At Central YMCA, we strive to support the safe provision of all children. If you child requires additional support, please contact cyp.playscheme@ymca.co.uk prior to booking, so we can best support your child.
We currently stay on site and Kings Cross Academy for all of our sessions. If this is to change, parents will be notified when booking.
Yes! We accept tax free childcare for all of our Holiday Playschemes. For more information, please contact cyp.playscheme@ymca.co.uk.
Please make sure your child has a full packed lunch, a water bottle, any medication they require, a raincoat and suncream.
We operate a strict NO NUT policy at all of our sessions. Please check your child’s lunch before coming in.
If you child has a mobile phone, this will need to be turned off and placed in their bag for the whole day.
We kindly ask that children refrain from bringing in any toys or trading cards etc. from home, as these could be lost or broken

Due to different age groups and spaces being used in the facility, we have capped the number of children for each class.
Football and Basketball will take place on the sports hall floor which is situated on the -3 floor.
Gymnastics will take place in the yoga studio which is situated on the -2 floor.

We only take block bookings for the term. The price will be calculated each school term based on the number of sessions minus the free trial if you are a new customer.
We ask the children to come in appropriate sports and footwear. We also ask them to bring a water bottle which can be filled up at our several water fountains across the facility.
We do encourage parents to stay with their child if they are aged between 4 – 6 years old. There are benches and seating areas available.
If you arrive early, we ask you kindly to wait in our cafe area until the session starts. This is due to other classes using the space before hand and to avoid any disruption. It is also the parent’s responsibility to look after their child before and after the session and we ask all parents to adhere to the YMCA Health and Safety policy and procedures.
