Our people

We have more than 700 people working with us, including our volunteers. They are based in our Central YMCA London office and across the country working with our four operations.

We are governed by a board of trustees made up of successful figures in the fields of health, education, finance, media and communications.

Staff

Finding people who fit our values is really important to us, whether they are PT instructors, apprentice coaches, or working in finance, marketing and customer support. Together they help us achieve our mission to make more people live happier, healthier, more fulfilled lives.

Volunteers

From teaching exercise classes to performing gym inductions, our 250+ volunteers help to make YMCA Club the special place that it’s known for. In the last year alone, they’ve run 140 crèche sessions, carried out 2,080 inductions and served over 6,000 cups of tea.
