We use a creative approach to help you find jobs that work for you. From setting up work placements, networking with employers, providing new learning & skills, self-employment and career planning, the Medway Together partners are here to help you find a better future.

Great Leaps

Working with Medway Together to deliver wellness sessions in the woods to help in combatting social isolation and improving mental health for participants from Medway. Mental health, wellbeing and wellness are essential components of everyday life that many people take for granted. At Great Leaps, we recognise the importance of taking time for yourself. Our experiences are designed to support 'you'. We aim to make the experience you choose or create with us, one that enables you to 'recharge your battery'.

Great Leaps Adventure is easily accessible by road and is situated within and operating from the grounds of Buckmore Park Scout Campsite, The entrance is off of the Lord Lees Roundabout on the A229, Maidstone Road, Chatham, just off of Junction 3 of the M2 motorway

Skills & Jobs for Young People

Four different Skills & Experience Courses for 16–25-year-olds in Digital, Hospitality, Care, Catering, Logistics, Construction & Volunteering.  

Digital Champions

Are you a Young Carer aged 16-24yo? Become a Digital Champion, learn new skills on this Project and get a £100 voucher and a £400 tablet. Develop your confidence, skills and your job prospects by completing this course and help older cares out of loneliness and isolation by training them to use digital equipment.

Financial Support & Jobs for Families

Practical and non-judgmental support for parents with young children

Support For Your Family

Home-Start Medway offers non-judgemental, practical and emotional support to families who have at least one child under the age of eight. A carefully selected and trained volunteer, who has parenting experience, can visit you regularly for 2-3 hours a week in your own home. Our volunteers are there to offer emotional and practical support which is based on what we together agree would be helpful. We also offer help from our financial fitness champions who are trained to support and guide families with money concerns.
