19-year-old Kari Baker, from Leeds, has always had an interest and passion for sport, participating and coaching. Specifically, netball (playing for Kirklees Borough), athletics (competing for Longwood Harriers) and dance (competing nationally).
Now, she has graduated from the Fitness Training Academy - Powered by Nike and won a special commendation for “Most improved, inspirational and aspirational student”. Kari shares her story…
“I feel more confident stepping into the fitness industry.”
“I saw the course advertised on social media and immediately applied, as I knew this would be a great opportunity, especially as an aspiring Personal Trainer. In comparison to my previous sports courses, I feel more confident stepping into the fitness industry and I have the knowledge needed to guide people on their fitness journey.”
“Each Nike CPD day would tailor to a specific topic that holds value in the fitness industry.”
“The best thing about the course was the Nike CPD days. Each Nike CPD day would tailor to a specific topic that holds value in the fitness industry. I found each Nike CPD day interesting and I gained a lot of knowledge.”
“Sport has contributed a lot in my life, it inspires me to maximise my potential. I hope to inspire others to believe in their potential and that anything is possible. I believe in making fitness a lifestyle for everyone.”
